Day 1 Arrive Delhi

Day 1 Arrive Kochi Upon arrival you will be met by our Representative who will assist with the transfer and check-in at your hotel. Day at leisure. Evening enjoy an enthralling performance ofKathakali, the ancient dance-drama form of Kerala, at a local theatre. Centuries old, Kathakali stands out for its colourful, elaborate costumes, head dresses, face masks, and vividly painted faces. It is one of the major classical dances of India. Overnight in Kochi.

Day 2 Delhi - Jaipur

Day 2 Kochi and Periyar Morning, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Kochi. The Dutch Palace at Mattancherry is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Indian epic Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue is at the heart of what is locally called Jew Town. The St Francis Church is the oldest European church in India. The Santa Cruz Basilica was originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese. The Chinese fishing nets are huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have been introduced to Kochi by the Chinese trade.Jew Street has colourful old lanes with houses once occupied by Jews. Today, the lanes are filled with curio shops and the fantastic spice markets. Later drive to Periyar, a beautiful region of tea gardens, rubber estates, and coffee and pepper plantations, located high in the Cardamom Hills. ThePeriyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary is home to the elephant, tiger, bison, sambar, wild boar, langur etc. and a declared Tiger Reserve. Explore local flavours and enjoy an authentic meal tonight with a professional chef as your guest. Overnight in Periyar.

Day 3 Jaipur

Day 3 Periyar - Kumarakom After breakfast, board a kettuvallom(houseboat) from the jetty at Nedumundy and experience a backwaters cruise from Periyar to Kumaraom. Traditionally, the kettuvalloms were old barges used to ferry rice and spices. Today they are modified houseboats – mini resorts in the water that are equipped with every facility; giving guests the chance to explore the gorgeous backwaters. Their languid grace and quaint design only enhance your cruise experience in the shimmering blue waters. It is an incredibly different experience to cruise the backwaters on a kettuvallom as you witness the magnificence of Kerala’s countryside andabsorb the beauty of its villages. See lush paddy fields and narrow canals, get panoramic views of lakeside villages, and observe villagers as they go about traditional occupations such as fishing and agriculture. Once you reach Kumarakom, check in into yourhotel. Overnight in Kumarakom.

Day 4 Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

Day 4 Kumarakom Called “one of the ten paradises on earth” by National Geographic Traveller, Kumarakom is a stunningly beautiful cluster of backwaters fishing villages on the Vembanad Lake in Kerala. Kumarakom is part of the Kuttanad region and is about 13 km from Kottayam. The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary here, spread across 14 acres, is a birder’s paradise. Spend the day rediscovering the joys of life lived at a beautifully languid pace on the intricate mesh of backwater trails or rejuvenate mind and body atany one of Kumarakom’s certified Ayurveda centres that offer a range of therapeutic traditional Ayurvedic treatments. Overnight in Kumarakom.

Day 5 Agra - Sikandra - Delhi

Day 5 Kumarakom - Kochi/ Depart Kochi After breakfast, return to Kochi. Enjoy an amazing tee time experience at the CIAL Golf Club in Kochi. With its rolling greens, and enchanting vistas of lakes and the Western Ghats mountain ranges, the CIAL Golf & Country Club (CGCC) is a world class facility created for tourists, weekend getaways, and business travellers. Developed as a major part of the Kochi Airport Project, the championship 18-hole course playing 7400 yards promises to deliver a wonderful golfing experience to beginners, regulars, and champions alike.
